    Hi Guys,

I have a very small collection of silver and gold pandas that started a couple of years back and I am interested in expanding my collection to Chinese medals, especially after seeing the recent floods of pictures posted by andrewlee10, barsenault, mmissinglink, trozau et al :). I have just begun perusing the newbie corner in the china mint forum as well as the link that trozau provided in the other thread. Seeing that many of you guys in this section have been around the MCC scene for quite sometime, I am wondering if any of you guys could recommend trusted places, where newbies can buy some of these Chinese medals?

To start my collection, I thought of getting the 2015 Shanghai mint white Guanyin 2 Oz silver medal by way of 'testing the water' and to see if Chinese medals are for me. The only place that appears to have these for sale is the luckpawnshop online shop. Any feedback on this particular seller?

Thank you in advance for you advise.

Luckpawnshop = One of the best, most trusted. Andy sells a lot too. Thincat on eBay is a good one to go to. Welcome. And good luck. there are treasures in this space for sure.

^ What he said. Also, you can contact IrvineShum here in the SilverStacker forum.

You are in good company here in the SilverStacker forum because there are other members other than those who've already started threads on medals in this section who also have a serious liking of Chinese medals. Those other members may chime in at times here as well but they may not be as active as some whose names you already know.

White guanyin is the 3rd pcs of the series. Better buy all as set.

I have it all in 2 oz and bronze.

1 oz mintage is lowest but same price for 2 oz.

Thanks for the info, andrewlee10. I am aware of the 2014 children sending guanyin medal, but the third medal didn't show in my research. Could you please provide further info in this?

    Many thanks.

I've been in recent contact with Andrew on a potential transaction, but it's been put on hold through no fault of his own.

Great to work with, and he puts in a lot of effort to make things happen. :)

I recently purchased and received some copper and brass Chinese medals from Andrew. He does make great effort to take care of his customers and to get a very fair price. I would recommend Andrew.

I suppose I will have to share pics of these medals here on the forum.

3 in series. white cloth, Child giving and water dropping. 3 versions of it 1 oz silver , 2 oz silver and brass.

Not touch the 1 and 2 oz silver especially the white cloth because all white spot.

Just tell me if you need the mintage details and photo.

I have 2 oz silver NGC PF69 for all three, brass omp and some 1 oz NGC PF69

Are the white spots like milky sports on Maples? Is it really bad?

If not too much of an inconvenience, could you please put up some photos showing the 3 types. Also a pic showing these white spots you mention.
