Hi, excuse my limited knowledge but I have some proof sovereigns that i would like to rehouse in some Leuchtturm plastic coin capsules with black foam edging. My question is will it be ok to do this so long as I wear cotton gloves and use a lens dust blower to ensure it is as dust free as possible before sealing? Finally will the black foam supplied by Leuchtturm be safe for the coins? I'm assuming it will be free of PVA seeing as they deal in coin accessories.
    Thanks in advance,
    Matt

Use gloves, the oil off your fingers will cause the proof coin to be marked.

Why would you re-house them? The Royal Mint capsule is perfectly fit for the purpose of protecting - and displaying - your proof Sovereign.

I quite like the black foam surround, it shows off the gold nicely, plus the mint capsules have a slight gap which when you turn the coins over they knock against the edge, only slightly mind, whereas the foam holds it in place nicely. Just want to know if it would detract from the value by rehousing (using gloves) ?
