    Just a typo Whinfell... the jurno probably meant to write "the refiner" rather than " the miner".
    Every gold mine I've ever worked at (Big & small, from Qld to W.A.) sold it's dore bars to the Perth Mint for refining.

    One mistake, not bad I suppose. If we did own all the mines in Australia enough to produce 300t a year that would help with fixing WA's budget problems :)

    Bron, Gold Corp can definitely start by buying some Gold miners shares and over time take over those companies :)
