Could I ask any Kiwi stackers here for a recommendation please? I have a friend who is trying to help her mother in New Zealand with investments and she asked me these two questions, I don't have answers but thought I might find help here. Her two questions are:

Could you help me with recommendations for:
    1. reputable, secure, privately owned (not a publicly traded company that can be bought out) private allocation storage in NZ.
    2. reputable PM's dealers in NZ for silver.
    Thank you!

Our few kiwi stackers are strangely quiet, hope they haven't fallen off their perch and into the ditch.;)

Cant help you with recommendations for No 1.

In regards to No 2, I have purchased precious metals from John Mowbray in New Zealand and can recommend his firm Mowbray Collectables.

Many years ago he bought out Stanley Gibbons Australia which was a major auction house over here that I used to get most of my bargain metals from, that's how I got to know about him.

Anyway, he runs two or three numismatic auctions every year over the ditch with lots of NZ, Aust, and world gold and silver coins a reasonable prices.

His latest numismatic auction finished just a couple of weeks ago, so might be a few months wait until the next sale.

Thanks hardyakka, every bit of information helps! Maybe we don't have that many Kiwis on the forum?
