Can someone enlighten me regarding the value of a ten troy ounce ingot of 92.5 silver. I think it is what they refer to as stirling silver.
Hey Butch: My advice for valuing Sterling: Take current spot value - AUD at timestamp is around $34: multiply by .01 to get roughly 1% of worth - therefore $.34 multiply that figure by 92.5 (purity percentage) = $31.45 Give it a pikey rounding: call it $30 per ounce. 300 for 10oz based on weight, though I'd only really pay something like $280 for it. If your keen to shift it, I'd have it for $280. Would be nice for casting (good way to sell it to jewellery hobbyists with access to lost wax casting facilities etc... )
