    Hi guys & gals,
I'm a Melbourne based Stacker & recently came across these 10ozt Bars at about 8% over Spot, only problem is: I'D NEVER HEARD OF THE MAKERS.
I bought them from a VERY reliable source & they test VERY pure (Closer to the Maples than to A.S.E's or Sunshine Minting Rounds) but I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of these refiners??
When I asked my supplier about them I was told that "They're the second biggest Silver Refiners in Australia" (I'm presuming behind Perth Mint?) yet when I searched them on the net, it was VERY hard to find any trace of them. When I eventually did, it was actually under "888 Investment Group" who apparently own mines in Ghana & also refine & assay Gold.
I just thought I'd drop a thread asking if anyone else has heard of or owns these bars and to drop in a picture of them for those who haven't

Made by a Melbourne operation that formerly did Australian Coin & Bullion (AC&B) bars. "Second largest refiner" is just a slight exaggeration!

    AHHHHHH!!!
That explains ALLOT....... I dealt with AC&B when they were there & the dealer is in the same building.
I just haven't seen ANY of these bars on the secondary market so I was curious.
The "Nitric Test" has actually turned FAR darker red than it had before!

WELL...... It's Silver & it's CHEAP so I'll be buying more!
I also got a New Zealand Silver Fern for $34 at the same time so I'm pretty pleased with that too.
    I'd recommend them I think!

    888 Investment Group,
    Suite 212,
    343 Lt Collins Street,
    MELBOURNE, Vic. 3000

No actual financial dealings so far, but have spoken to them face to face, and they impressed me as being very strict in their dealings and methods and observation of the law. They came highly recommended by a jeweller across the road that has been there for 135 years.

Well I bought from them for the first time on Friday, am really happy with my purchases & will DEFINITELY be going back.
    The address I visited was:
    Level 11 Office 1104
227 Collins St (Corner of Swanson & Collins)
    Melbourne 3000

They also buy Scrap Gold & Silver @ VERY competitive rates.
(FAR better than the "Gold Buyers" you find in the shopping centres)
