Started this thread...just cos i can woke up this morning and what a jump! US 9c to go...c'mon baby GM
I have a question too,ive heard a lot of people talking about the "USD index".Can any of you who know, explain what impact the USD index has on silver? (to help us economically challenged individuals on the forum) Cheers GM
"Just putting in a placeholder" like someone else here on the forum who set up the $40 thread. Not mentioning any names GP ...lol GM
A new thread for every buck it goes up. Should make for interesting reading down the line. $41 USD means we're closing in on $50 AU for most common coins soon. I was tipping $50 AUD silver by xmas. Looks like it might happen well before then though. This sharp bull run actually is something of a worrying trend I believe. Gradual movement I can certainly appreciate, but this is going ballistic of late.
Kinda of depressing that silver has doubled when it hits this mark since wanting to setup a SMSF and rolling over funds..... still waiting on my cheque.
Trust me - you'll be way more depressed down the line if you dont. Can hardly wait for the day to come when government bribes fund managers to invest in "infrastructure projects" ... Then you'll realise that SUPER is just another TAX!! If you ever get to control all the money in your super the way you'd like to only then will i accept that the above statement is incorrect. However, i wont hold my breath...
I think GP was right in posting the $40 thread early as its a major resistance price and needs some discussion. Where as once it has broken the $40 price point it just gets boring again.
Yeah. I think about it every time there is a major world event or govt policy change, and it has served me well so far.
The big resistance/psychological/media $$$ level will be $50, then above that it will trade at "all time highs". Still 25% to go before we get there....
I made the thread as a tongue in cheek bit of fun.Well i for one love to celebrate steep rises in price...be happy and enjoy it...even if it is 9 cents short of the actual!!! 2 cents more in price and youd have to round up anyway :0p
