    My supply of fiat currency dictates when I buy, not the spot price.

    Tbh, the paper price doesn't really matter as much anymore anyway. The markets have disconnected.

    Try buying an ounce here and an ounce there atm for under $38 and see how far you get.

    Very hard times now for the small scale stacker who can only afford the odd ounce. You can still get competitive rates if you're buying 20oz or more, but otherwise, you just have to follow the physical market as best you can and nowadays, that's not necessarily related to the paper market. ;)

    Cost average is my strategy.

    Spotprice determines how much I can purchase, not so much when.

    I did enjoy it at 28/oz though. But, what's another 4 or 5 on top.

    I remember keenly looking for $24.45 per oz. That was when spot passed my dollar cost average.
