    Hi,

Got recently a 1780 Thaler restrike and was wondering if there's any oversize 2x2 holder I can use for this coin, the coin is 41mm diameter and the largest 2x2 holder I could find on the market is 39.5mm

    Cheers

I use mylars that I seal with a food vacuum packing machine. keeps them seal fresh and you can handle them easy without risk of damage to them.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, was mainly looking for a 2x2 cardboard holder to fit in my album.

The one on the ebay link looks suspicious, the photo is definitely not of a holder bigger than 40mm

The purple penny ones fit in 2x2 albums and are much better quality than the usual flips.

I do have some larger cardboard holders but they are indeed 2.5x2.5 and do not fit in the regular albums.
Only have some because a coin shop had some old stock - very hard to buy anywhere.

Yep true, that can be an alternative to the cardboard hodlers but the thing is I already having most of my coins on the usual flips and would prefer something similar for the bigger coins

    Thanks again :)

Those 2.5x2.5 larger holders are available in the US ebay, however as you mentioned they don't fit in the standard albums so it's not an option
