Better hurry up and buy at these discounted prices stackers, those sort of prices might not be around for much longer.

The recent precious metal smack downs seem to have come to an end ( at least for the time being )

Gold up 1% and silver nearly 3% now, hope this is just the start of the next big rally upwards.

    Why buy 1/20 or 1/10?

Perth Mint has been selling 1g minted for spot + 10% (PM was advertising a voucher on Ebay's homepage)

    I prefer coins.

Although not easy to justify 20x 1/20 being $700-800 more expensive than 31x 1g.

Where can you find 1g cards below $100?

Perth Mint Minted Gold Bar - 1g
    $98.10

Produced in eight sizes, gold bullion minted bars portray a struck version of The Perth Mint’s LBMA registered mark on the front and kangaroo-shaped motifs on the back. Each minted bar comes housed in tamper-evident packaging which shows the word VOID around the edge of the blister if the card has been prized opened. The card is charcoal-coloured with a dark, watermark-like image of the Mint’s stylised swan logo.

This product is popular during Diwali.

    $91 today. $85 last week.

    399 sold. 101 remaining.

Perth have been clearing out all sorts. Double dragon 1oz proof was $60 for days but now bumped back to $120. They are manipulating Ebay's sort by Best Match.

Pays to watch eBay. The standard price for 1g cards is not spot + 10% though, which makes other options more worthwhile. I would rather pay few dollars a gram extra for 1/20 coins than plain assay cards.

I paid 11.2% including shipping. 1/20s are 45% not including shipping.

I definitely a coin person but this solves a few of my problems with gold shrapnel.

At that rate it would be a no brainer to choose 1g over 1/20
