I'm specifically looking for the 2020 1oz gold lunar mouse coin from Perth, but it seems like it's sold out everywhere except ebay. Historically, when coins run out before mid-year, is it out for good or are we just waiting for dealers to restock? Mintage on this coin is 30k. Wondering if I should bit the cost on ebay's inflated price or wait for dealers (if possible).
dont worry about the lunar mouse, there's 30k mintage so some will appear when gold price goes down. or somewhere along the line PM will have cancelled orders that they cant ship overseas and resell locally. There was a run on physical gold and silver as well back then which is now easing up. PM is now probably gearing up to mint more kangaroos. They also have to mint a lot of silver coins which i think takes up most of their time and also makes them the most money.
Yea, I wouldnt hold out on Perth Mint having any more in stock. Your best bet is WTB on the trading forum or checking around with the various dealers.
