The Corona pandemic might last for months, some fear: as long as 12 months?

SHTF is here - it happened faster than I expected. Caught me off-guard. And it's a BIOHAZARD. One thing I didn't expect happening. It's like in the boo-boo scaremonger prepper films.

But it's real. And it's here.

PM’s are for the other side of this, right now food, fuel, water and ammo should be high on anyone’s list.

I agree that cash is king for now, as for stocks on the other side of this I tend to disagree. The majority of people are loosing a lot of their life savings and retirement fund through stocks right now and see the stock market for what it is ( a place for the big boys to fleece the little boys with smoke and mirrors). So there is a high probability people will look for somewhere else to park there hard earned. Yes stocks have been good for some people who know how to play the game but I think the jig is up for stocks in the short to medium term.

Weve got over 50 cases in our little town. Its apparent it's nothing more than the flu so people need to grow up and stop being little crybabies.
Weve told the county commissioner to bite a fat one with his rules and regulations. They are doing their best to shut down all economic activity and put everyone into hard times. Everyone has bills to pay a most places arent complying with them orders to shut down.
They will do their best to blame the free fall of the economies on this and that's the plan as already in place.
Until they start writing us paychecks then we are working. They can take their "recommendations" and shove it three knuckles deep.
10 feet away 20 feet away 30 feet away, no more than 5 people, 7 people 10 people.
    Shut up you idiots.

This is exactly why this virus will not be constrained. Accepting that up to 80% have mild symptoms. Hospitals will be completely overwhelmed so try not to get sick with anything else in the next 12-18 months.

Economic activity will be affected either way.

It wont be anyway. Enough is still open that it will never be constrained and it's not reality.
No one is buying this information.

How much did you pay for your silver if you're down 15 percent? Have you seen the premiums? I'm way up on mine still.

I only bought some recently i think it was low-mid $20's / oz ish I cant really remember the exact price but I was paying around $800ish for a kilo bar.

I only have 5 kg of silver all up I was mostly buying shares. I sold 100% of my shares in early Jan so I had cash to move / renovate

and now buy back in when the dust settles.

Agreed. I am one who believes in free choice and I will make my own decisions as I am sure many others will as you point out.

If it’s a recession it will work. But it is not a recession, it is war.

Sheeple don't even know what silver is worth and they love fiat money. The sad truth is that cash is king right now.

QE is going to be launched and prices are already going up.

Eventually, PM's could catch up and become "kings". Perhaps this dip could be a buying opportunity. But food, medicine, hygiene products, safety come first.

Those who bought at 30 $, 50 $ (US) are having nightmares right now. Silver will rise once we're getting into industrial production (again), while at the same time currency goes down. I think these two are required for an ideal scenario.

Right now people love cash, because they want to buy food and hygiene products, medicine etc.

I’ve considered buying stocks, added some and regretted. Only 5% in stocks but left 3% as most dumped 40%. Only 2% gone but it still sucks. I won’t dare to buy more until all settles down.

At this moment, I think silver is still a way better bet than stocks as silver can’t go bankrupt or be diluted. I mean it’s already below production cost for many miners so it won’t stay this Low for long even if the price may temporarily drop to $9 or lower.
