Perth Mint website says "Currently out of stock". Does this generally mean the whole Australian allocation has sold out, or just that what they've minted to date has been sold and that they'll likely have more available?

It means they'll dribble more in, "probably".
    Try ringing them SilverJJ

I called Perth Mint and the pixiu has sold out. As it was commissioned by LPM in HK, Perth Mint were only provided with 5k to sell, while the other 45k are going to LPM.

The remaining 170 2020 Wedge Tail Eagles were posted today and they have sold out (i.e. reached maximum mintage of 50k).

They said that their products are selling quickly after listing, they are aware that some products sell for much more on ebay and that people are watching their website waiting for batches of coins to be made available that they can snap up.

    Really! Wow!
I've never heard them mention auction sights to
prospective customers; normally they advise of
Perth dealers who stock their products.

perth mint must be literally making a mint from all these sold out coin sales. and for $33 plus above spot for the 1oz coins, thats a good profit margin there i reckon.
