Apmex had a VIP-only access period on Friday. Limit of 50 pieces. In the first half hour of this Friday access period, they were charging $28.85 USD. I don't know if the price went up during the day on Friday.

So imagine my surprise to see them available this morning at less than $27. I sent an email expressing my disappointment, which was of course ignored. Not the way so-called VIPs should be treated IMHO.

Ouch. Well, that sucks. Good thing you didn’t max out. I think this #2 is nice. I can’t wait to hold in hand.

so the max is 100 from apmex and 10 from perth mint per customer. just another reason why not to care.

Kudos to Apmex, this was one organized roll out of the 2018 Swans and here it is day 3 and the bullion coins are still available to purchase. (In retrospect, last years 'chaotic' roll out of the 2017 Silver Swan was kinda fun to watch).
In the end, I've decided to wait till the 'hype' has subsided on the 2018's to get a few on the secondary market.

The Flight of the 2018 Silver Swans.
It's been 6 days since the Apmex launch of the 2018 Swan coins and they are still available to purchase, seems like the 2018 Emu's ran away faster.

Um, was there a limit of 100 of those ugly things you could buy? :)

I know it’s been mentioned already, but kudos to Apmex for being capitalistic. They held back a ‘ton’ of product and tested the market at lower prices on the 2nd release, and when they saw that they too were selling like hot cakes, they quickly increased their prices, thus maximizing their profits. They decreased the opportunity for flippers like me from maximizing my profit. Lesson learned: Hold your nose and dive in fast and big in the first release in a new series, because the chances of significant profit on the 2nd release dramatically decreases - especially if the series is popular! It looks like Apmex is capping the profit for flippers for less than 46 bucks - and when you minus ebay/PP fees there is little profit. Again, kudos to APMEX. Bravo. Thanks for teaching me this lesson. :)

Indeed. They deserve the profit but it’s the secondary guys and gals that also help assist and bringing recognition to the series. So they better take care. Lol.
I didn’t get the Best Buy either. Sorta regretting the purchase at 33.60. Next go around if I don’t secure the lower price, I’ll be taking a pass too. I do like 2 better than 1 as well. I’ll def 1 of each year first release PCGS blue label. Not so much all the other stuff.

These guys are going for AUD60 plus now from APMEX and Bullion Money. Pretty much sold out everywhere else.
