If you order, be sure you send a follow up email letting them know that the 2017 Proofs had issues with the capsules not being fully snapped together, and in transit the capsules rubbed against these beautiful pieces. If enough of us write that follow up email, including your order number, I'm sure they'll pay special attention - or so I hope. I told them, I'll send mine back if they come that way, and I will - I don't care if I have to pay shipping. That's just unacceptable.

well, go on ebay and see what the 2017's are being sold for. Oh, and check out what the London Coin Company is SELLING the 2018...they sold for $269.00...so, yeah, I would agree that 89.00 is a damn good price. I'm sure that LPM will update as soon as they realize their mistake. so again, thank you. it's folks like you, me and any others who post stuff like this that helps forums to grow. So again, thank you!! My all in cost including shipping and paying by credit card is like 96.00. Can't beat that with a stick. Definitely not losing money on those. Lol.

I had no idea there was free shipping with LPM. Lol. I think the order has to be greater than 500.00, and it doesn't show up until you check out. Good lesson. I agree, I think these are a no brainer. Pre-sale price is great. I just hope we can get them in the 30 day window so I can grade them First Release, but not holding my breath S.A., to HK to the US. Lol. Oh well. Tempted to get more, but just can't do it. but even at 97.69 for paypal...that is a steal, IMHO.

thanks. I'd hate to have to send these all the way back to HK because they're wrecked upon arrive...a little proactive measures should solved that problem. Plus, I'm sure APMEX ripped the SAMINT a new one too, since they have 'abrassions' still for sale, and I'm certain it was due to returns with the capsules opened. Stupid mint could have taken simple measures to prevent this from happening.
I contacted SA mint and they have another delay in South Africa. The Sa mint is the worst Mint in the world in regards to delivery.
Well, I just contacted the place where I bought them, and told them to cancel my order!! I finished with that stupid mint.
I’ll take the penalty. I’m not waiting until September to get these things, or later, who knows. I can put my money to better use. I won’t delve into the Kruggerands again. I thought I’d roll the dice, and now this again. I see some dealers have taken them off their site probably because the delay is going to be longer than expected. Lol. Yeah, no thanks, let’s just call it a day, and say sorry that it had to end this way.
I can’t remember, but my concern is who knows when we’ll get them, and 2nd, I’m not so confident that they’ve learned their lesson about ALL the folks who got theirs with the capsules opened with coin flopping around in the cases. I just don’t feel comfortable. I’d rather pay a penalty then deal with these factors, quite frankly. I won’t consider them again. Too many others out there that do a stellar job.
