It's to be expected.....2016 shows a higher mintage than last year....actually more than double the 4,000 2015 Platinum Eagle proof mintage. My intuition tells me that the 2016 will also be a sell out, albeit, not nearly as quickly as the 2015. Off topic, Altima, I like your tagline: "Two things define you. Nice! It's gotta be a good feeling to know you snatched up a Platinum Eagles.....good for you. My guess is that the platinum spot price will some day shoot up to it's historical average meaning that it will surpass the price of gold. Either way it really doesn't matter much to me....I'm all in on silver but I am aware that platinum is in the doldrums right now. .
