Barsenault, Great video, Succinct, Very Inspiring. Makes a lot of sense for LONGTERM storage of those trays. +/- archival bags or other innovations. All trying to protect these treasures that are meant to remain around for years to come. Is this the same sealing machine you have used all these years? Do you like it? What is the name and model number? Do you get the sheets from the same place? Thanks for info.
Thanks much for the positive kudos KOT. Like many in our community, I'm pretty fanatical about doing everything in my power to protect these numi - semi-numi coins/medals from damage or nature. This is the same machine I've had for a couple years. There's not a single piece in my collection that is not protected in this way. Many are also in the 8 X 11 coin armor bags too. And in airtight containers. Probably overkill, but there are additional layers I add to the containers to protect from any damage. I'm sure it won't work in all instances, but it sure does give me peace of mind. LOL Walmart has several good machines. This one may be a bit antiquated. The pretty much all do the same thing. Some may have more bells and whistles than others. I love this thing for the 2016 Trays. As you know, I wasn't thrilled about the design of the 2016 Panda, but when I got one in hand, I was like, man, this is nice. I'm not kicking myself for buying a couple rolls of the kooks vs. these pandas. Oh well. I'm sure the kooks will do just fine too. I wish they'd stop that series and start another one. Take care.
