Well, who got in big time with these ? Investment of the year ( 2016 ) !!! Easily acquired at RRP of $50. last year, and with a little growth, was still around $70. - $80. earlier this year ..... UNTIL the RAM released provisional mintage figures for the 2016 series. Around 300,000 for the $1. Change-Over design. Noted ebay prices recently ???? Anything up to $400. a roll !!!! Damn, wish I bought slabs of the things !!! ( and the 5 cent rolls are also scarce now too. Up to some $70. a roll from $20. )

More 'good news' for holders of the 2016 ' Change-Over' $1. coin rolls ... RAM Annular Report mintage figure in the 2015 - 2016 is 0.359 million The 2016 - 2017 Report says an additional 0.202 million produced. That's a total of just 0.561 million coins !! If the RAM keep to their m.o., there should be no further coins minted for this year / type. If that becomes the case, then these coins should do as well as the 2012 'Red Poppy' $2. rolls ( also with a mintage of just 0.503 million ) Which have really spiked last month or so, up to around $1,000. a roll !! ( but that's because of a different factor - allegedly being sued by the Canadian Mint over the 'red' technology ... )
