MDAMDA, I see I made the right decision about 3 years ago. To forever be done with the RCM. Thanks for the confirmation.

That's sad to here but good on you that your quality assurance is so high . Hopefully they don't repackage those and try to pawn them off on unsuspecting buyers.
I'll have to inspect mine closely, and they (The Coin Shoppe ) will receive a scathing report from me if I have a similar experience. Did you keep track of the COAs that you originally received , and did you request substitutes or did you cancel your order altogether? (Although I suppose that if they wanted to they could just swap out the COAs since the coins aren't actually serialized ;(

    Cheers,

    Luker

They are cancelled now - if you have that many problems at one sort of coin there is something with the whole mintage.

I didn't noticed all COA, as you said the can changed coin and COA easily

It is somewhat diificult to reconcile your experience with the majority of the Reviews of the coin on the RCM website...either you received a bad batch or are a more discerning/experienced collector (which is likely true given the fact that you are a distributor and have a reptutation to uphold for your clients) ...I just hope that I receive unflawed coins. I have the advantage that I am in Canada, so any potential return process should not be that onerus for me. Will definitely post my thoughts of the coin (I ordered two) once I have them in hand.

    Cheers,
    Luker

This coin may get lost with all the colored coins coming out but this is in my opinion the best silver proof to come out of any of mints for years. You will not be disappointed. Was this a gift?:

6/17/2015 5.0 A lovely work of artBy Art admirer

I love the design of this coin. It is quite amazing how the innovative mixture of minting techniques can turn a solid piece of metal into an art that express motion and emotion. To me the softer refracted reflection of the maple leaf floating over rippling wave was spectacularly done. I can almost feel the motion of the waves that evoke a peaceful and tranquil feeling in me. Another important point is the total absence of more contemporary technique like the use of color and hologram which makes this coin even more appealing as a piece of collectable art/sculpture. I only wish this design was done as a 2 or 5 oz coin which should give it a bigger canvas and makes it even more mesmerizing to look at.

I intended for this coin to be added to my RCM maple leaf coin collection, but found the coin's thickness to be too much - it would not fit in the album with the other maple leaf coins. I was quite disappointed.
I rechecked the RCM website description for the coin and found nothing mentioned about the coin's thickness. I believe any oversized coin dimension should be added to a coin's description. Was this a gift?:

Only way to find out is to get one for yourself. If you don't like it, make use of any return policy.

Most coins have productions issues (high relief antique coins from Perth Mint, proof britannias from Royal Mint).

So I received my two silver coins yesterday and the pair look spectacular! I have seen several thousand coin designs this year (online) and would definitely say that it is in the top 10 of those which I have come across. Will post photos in a few days. Posted a review to their site but it seems that the RCM website Reviews is not displaying at this time . . . Would be awesome if they made this in a 5oz version (for one year only) with a mintage of under 1000.

    Cheers,
    Luker

Glad you like them too! I picked a couple up, but have already sold one.
I think the one I kept is numbered around #600 of 5,000.

Yeah. But highly unlikely the gold will appreciate ever. Lol
