    She is SUPER SEXY.
I really like the picture of the chick with the trident as well.

Good pics motorB. Pretty good design from the RM. The cameo of the old hag looks fairly high relief! :) I am passing up this coin though.

It is not an "old hag" she is Britannia the warrior
And the beauty on the obverse is Queen Elizabeth:)

True but this is still a very beautiful coin it does look better in reality, I'm pleased I bought it & it will be going into my core collection, even though I'm not a fan of 5oz coins ,I only have one other a 5oz panda.

    Then I stand corrected! ;)

In all honesty though, if the design was actually excellent (which it definitely isn't), I'd strongly consider buying one of these. The slightly oversized hoderve fork she is holding instead of a trident breaks the deal for me right off the bat, sadly. After all, when I think of Britannia with her trident I think of something like this:

Beautiful coin and must have cost a fortune! Enjoy it. I'll be trawling the 2nd hand market to buy up all the older coins :p

I sensed you were playing that's why I responded with a winking smiley myself.

The RM could have produced a better design than that...that's what bothers me about the coin. If it were a crappier mint which didn't have the resources and ability to produce a better design then that's a different issue and maybe I'd buy the coin. But I don't like to encourage what I see as inferior quality. It's no different for me that the Perth Mint producing such hideous coins in the Gods/Goddesses of Olympus series. They are capable of so much better....I won't reward them for inferior designs when I know they are capable of better.

And yes, I suppose it is to some extend subjective as to what is and isn't a good quality design. Ultimately, we each must choose what we think is or isn't good design work.

The design maybe could have been more imaginative, but it is a subtle classy not in your face design & I like that. As for inferior quality the coin is fantastic quality. At the end of the day we all have our own views on coins. Just buy what you like, some of the complicated Chinese & bejewelled coins that people like make me want to throw up but to each his own.
