2014 Australian AIATSIS 50c Mint Rolls

Hi All

Hope everyone is well,

Today i would like to ask if any SS members would like the 2014 AIATSIS 50c mint rolls.

Due to a glitch and family coming from overseas i have not had a chance to ask if any SS members would like these rolls.

They should be with me hopefully mid next week, we had a slight issue with the rolls and i hope its all sorted now.

Price per roll $21.95AUD + postage

Rolls consist of 20 x 2014 AIATSIS 50c pieces

coin where made by the Royal Australian mint, rolled at the mint and sent to us very soon by the Royal Australian mint

Mintage of the coins approximately 2 million ( this was mentioned on the mints article dated Thursday 3 July 2014 which can be seen on the media center on the mints website )

rolls (included in the mintage) 5000 units

Things to note each roll weighs around 320 grams, i am not sure at the moment but you might be able to fit 8-9 rolls in 1 x 3kg bag

Australian 50c pieces are the most collected out of all the decimal currency.

they are popular with dealers as our allocation got cut by 20%

I unfortunately wont be available all day Thursdays and Friday morning due to family commitments, thus i will try to answer all inquires as soon as possible

for those who have not seen the 50c piece this is how they look like, please note this is a stock picture, real coins will have a few bag marks

They are straight from the mint to us, which means they would be classified as uncirculated

Please remember that these coins are made for circulation thus there would be bag marks on the coins

Excellent, I haven't even seen these particular 50c coins in circulation yet.

I have picked up quite a few North of Brisbane in change but they seem to be drying up a bit. Happy to add a couple of rolls to the collection though.
