Not bad, just to many different sets in my opinion.

Actually don't look as bad as I thought they would, very cartoonish though, reminds me of Mushu from Mulan movie :D
Just don't think they will appreciate in value though, so will probably give them a miss and pick it up on ebay in a few months cheaper than release price.
Just noticed the Perth Mint down to only 1 of the rectangle rabbit set, there were over a hundred a couple of weeks ago, so someone has been buying them up!

Too 'spensive, too many of em, risky and they look like they should be accompanied by wacky sound effects and have names like Flamey, Scaley, Biffo and Bluey (IMHO).
I think PM is stretching Dragon Fever a bit with these, but time will tell.. they may go to the mewn

So many people here do not like it :) so I may actually be able to get one from Perth Mint.

I would get it as it it has a low mintage plus I do like the rectangle shape as its something different.

I like the look, but the price makes me squeamish. Low mintage mean next to nothing. Demand always drives prices. Supply is insignificant without sufficient demand.
I have a coin with a mintage of 1500 and I doubt it will ever appreciate more than the 6 million mintage 2011 panda.

The demand will come from china, im sure the mints in china will jump at the chance to buy all of the mintages of the rectangle set. as it is the chinese market. that drive the dragon hype. all lunar series do not have this effect. (maybe with the exception of the tiger) which china likes.

Not usually a fan of rectangle coins but this one doesn't seem too bad.
Prefer the typeset but will probably pick up 1 set of the rectangles.

The Rabbit Rectangle sold out recently so that might be a good sign.
