    Hi SS
I consider to buy one of these coins. What do you think?
This is first coin of five coins in "Mysteries of History" series.

Mintage of these coins is 2000 pcs, not sure if all these type of coins are made of sterling silver.

It's a half assed attempt along the lines of
The "Tiffany Fart " range
Absolute crap quality compared to the original coin

    AND

I believe the OP is only " drumming up " these type of coins for what reason

What mint are they made by ?
Does the Island of NIUE even have any idea about these coins
ALL these type of coins & anything involved with " COTY " ( coin of the year ) are just a con job ;)

    There I said it :D

The only thing going for it is that the Queens head is almost the size of a privy mark. Otherwise it's an ugly coin with a red blotch. :D

    NO
I think you missed my point
I am mad about coins being made up for these little islands that they have no idea about :/
Do they get anything out of it ?

    BUT
You all you seem to do is ask about these type of coins & make video clips of them
In my eyes your drumming up the hype on this type of crap :/

    :D

Since your asking opinions I'd rather it stay a "mystery of history" and not own one.
    Thanks for sharing. :)

Still makes no sense to me though...

Maybe an error or something missed in the translation

Ugly Coin, total waste of money, if you want to must your money on modern limited SCHTTE there is better designs.. This is total crap, some are just a rip-off but a nice design.. this is just a rip-off.

It saddens me when people are smart enough to discover silver as an investment, and then get tripped up focusing on this rubbish.. so close yet so far!

    Go play pokies instead bro!

Which will be equally as rubbish... just defaming the names and making cash from historical artefacts now... :(

    Not. A. Fan.

    There's my opinion.

There are people who like ancient coins, people who like modern coins and people who like cheap silver, and some who like a bit of each.

Most of the comments here are from people who like value for money.

There are a lot of coins which will lose value the minute you buy them from a dealer, they may never get that price back, even if you hold them for years. This makes the investors cringe.

There are other coins which you know won't make any money but you like the look of them and you buy one whatever the cost.

Occasionally a coin will go ballistic and prices will rise, this makes the mint happy as they can sell more in the series. Many people buy the first coin in a series in the hope that this will happen to them. It doesn't happen very often but the Mints are aware of the phenomenon and are happy to play up to it with lots of pretty ordinary new series.

This will probably loose value, but it may not, if you like it, then buy it but be aware that if you don't really like it you may end up with it for a long time. You probably won't have much luck selling it here unless you offer it at a steep discount.

It is not to my liking but then I am not the one buying it.

Ok so before I go play pokies ...

... tell me which coins you like. What should I buy then. I can see SS have obviously much more experience then I.
I asked for opinion, can I hear some advice ? :|
