Did anyone get this item? Was it mania at the PM again today because website crashed, and when I phoned through, there systems had crashed too and could not take any phone orders. I phoned later again and still system was down but they took my order "manually" and said they would process it when system came back up again. So I have no idea if my order went through or not! Says "unavailable" for this item on the website now - does anyone know if it got all sold out?
Yeah all sold out now. I managed to get a set for myself. http://forums.silverstackers.com/to...oz-silver-rectangle-four-coin-set-page-2.html
a colored proof dragon just sold with 88 bucks, i think some edition may lower than PM release price in future
After the no yes no yes no yes Arhh farket I'LL get it syndrome this morning, I tried most of the day to seal the deal with one of these sets from the Perth mint website..... Well talk about total meltdown, their site was trying to tell me that! I must contact them because I am trying to change my personal details? Then it would loose all my purchase data, then tell me to log in again! I mean what the fuuck is it with their website? At about 4:15pm today Perth time I just managed to get a Dragon square set. Just as I got confirmation email their site said no longer available for the square dragons! Talk about cut it close.
I was at the mint at 920am and not a soul in sight besides a group going on a 930am tour. When i asked if they had any of the Nov 1 releases on display or in stock they said no. The woman said she didnt know what was going on and didnt understand why there was such a delay. I said i know why, there are to many lines of products due to close to eachother. Could take all of 2012 to catch up IMO. Thats if they dont slow down with issues. The 2012 carded koalas werent even in the computer system and the lunar display was the same as a month ago. They need to lift there game bigtime. Not only has the the quality of product there pumping out deteriated(marks and dust with all quality coins) they want all of us to buy without even sighting the damn things. Either slow down with the number of issues or get more equipment and staff. Its becoming a real joke. After my disgust i decide to spend my money down the road and picked up a Baby Dragon #100. It looks a little different in the hand. Its way better than the pics suggest. A very nice coin indeed apart fron dust and fibres in capsule. Easy to get out but its not something you should have to do IMO. Scorp
at around 910 with 4 coin proof set and after 1 hour about 1000, they release baby set, but the same problem
How was the mint site on this one? I sat this one out and pretty happy I didn't have to deal with crashing sites
^ very very slow most of the time. took about a minute per page to load up. occasionally crashed got better after 10 am
got mine at just after 9 am this morning, no baby dragon initially listed though. had to come back in again later to get that one! was very difficult to process though but expected!!
I think the baby dragon is not cut but I really like the look of the rectangular dragons. Wonder what the Chinese will make of it.
Managed to get through the phone yesterday. They said they managed to process my order for the 4 Coin Silver Set. It'll be quite a wait for them though. 17-Nov-11 Release with another 1-2 weeks shipping time. Don't really like the look of the Baby Dragon but picked one up anyway.
I rang this morning an they took my order. Never know whether these things go through or not till it comes out of C/C. I think i like them more than the typeset
On 01-Nov-11 (when the Baby Dragon and 4 Coin Rectangle set were released) it took me about 30-40 mins to get through.
I tried to get through but the hole in the earpiece was way to small . So i dont know how anyone could get through on the phone.
these rectangle dragon set does look better than the typeset. and it will do well in the asian market however the 1/2 oz baby dragon won't shame they didnt just stick to the lunar dragon design. dont think it will do well in the secondary market.
