Was about to get a couple of these from the mint but decided not to. $80 for a 1/2 dragon and a 1/2 koala is a bit rich. A mintage of 2888 but no thanks. Can get the coins for $21 each.

The coins aren't actually any different from the standard ones are they? What's so special about their 'limited' mintage?

It just says pure silver. There just carded 1/2oz coins for the above expo. East meets West. I've been drained of enough funds lately and by the looks of the Silver price right now i might just buy a 10oz bar tomorrow for $33? .

You can find it at Downie's. The price is ridiculous.

This sounds funny. IMHO it should be changed to South meets North. Australia is a little bit easterner than China.

3 left on the Perth Mint website now. They're specimen quality, not normal bullion rounds. Very tiny mintage of 2,888 sets, especially considering nearly two thirds were already sold in Beijing. They're still available at Downies

I agree with being listed vs. being sold...... but apparently he has already sold one at $170 (400256059255).

last one to sell on ebay was $66.52 - cheaper than what they were selling at Perth mint for! (320819657808)
