Hi Fellow Panda Stackers, In the process of doing a possible deal with someone from europe and have recieved pictures of the 1/2 ounce gold 2011 panda. I'm interested in anyones input as to whether it is the real deal. There seems to be some discouloration on the base of the coin, but he assures me it's just the packaging from the mint. Also there appears to be a small chip on the base of the coin just under the 1 from the 2011 date. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Value & if it's the real deal or not. This is for a trade for an item that is not bullion and the payment is the 1/2 ounce gold coin for the item plus postage cost's to him in Europe, so want to make sure before I go ahead. Cheers all SM
Shows up in the pricepedia at $1073--appears real---slanted reed should seal the deal--nice coin--decent price, the chip and discoloration hurt though--$900 max IMO
I will not pay more than bullion value. Its a common year and for the photos the coins ismin bad shape.
Thanks Thor Yeah im not too happy with it's condition either.... Being it's for a trade allows for some leway but it's not up to scratch really is it... thanks
