I would answer but I don't really have a feel for Australian prices and therefore would not want to undercut one of the sellers/dealers here on the forum. I will refrain from answering questions of this nature but there is surely one of the members here selling one of these ! good luck man
We'd probably be buying off eBay or overseas anyway comeaux so US prices are as good an indication as any for slabbed pandas. I'd probably buy a MS69 2010 1oz Silver panda instantly at $65 They're probably worth somewhere around $80-95 though in reality (not real advice, just a guess). Best idea would be to go on eBay, take an average and minus 8% from that value
yea I agree ... like we all know these 2010 only have 800k in mintage compared to the 2011 of 6,000K ... huge difference ! I see these as a great investment for the future ...
They upped the mintage due to demand. Check online, I'm on my phone at the moment so don't have source.
Yea well thats great info ... you will have to point out the source so I can update ! I just checked my brand new 2011 Chinese Coin book published in 2011 and written in Chinese and it also says 800,000 ? I know they increased mintage for 2011 but never heard of it for 2010 ? hmmmmm
Give the 2010s and 2011s a few more years, and they'll be fetching a much higher premium than now... that's my prediction

thanks for the link fishy although wiki is very sketchy info, the second link appears a little more credible and the third I didnt see 2010 info? I'm sure your right but I'm gonna dig a little more into it just to check ya
lol I love them all the same, nothing beats the 2009 though! But in all seriousness it is very hard to find a credible English website discussing the mintages... Here's the Chinese PDF: http://www.cbpmc.com.cn/xwzx/xgxw/201104/P020110414320847587124.pdf Says exactly the same thing as the above link I posted but in Chinese
They already upped the mintage to 6 million, I guess there's always that possibility of them going back and saying "oh shit we minted 12 million"... but I don't think that's too likely.
It's ok... even with the increased mintage of 1.5Million for the 2010s, they have reached a price stable point, rarely dropping below $62.50AUD. My guess is that a large amount of the 2010 stocks have been taken up, and with increased silver demand, it's unlikely we'll be seeing bargain prices on 2010s from here on out. 2011s will still be bullion level pricing for another few months, but when the 2012s come out, I imagine even the 2011s will appreciate some extra points against those.
Agreed with yennus. The $60 AU pricing was when we already knew about the 1.5 million mintage. There shouldn't be any change now since it's actually quite old news
yea we all have our favorites and i do collect them all to have a few of every year but after 2005 I did lose a little interest after the security of double sealed and low mintages. I do like the design on the 2009 as well, its really cool and also most all of the commemoratives because of extremely low mintages compared to the other BU's. IMO the highest $$$ of the 2000's are obviously the 2000 mirror, 2000 frosted, 2003, 2004 & 2002, 2001-D and pretty much in that order, then probably 2006, 2001, 2005 Then the really big $$$ of the 90's in approximate order are the 1995 micro, 1999 LD serif, 1998 LD, 1993 LD, 1990 SD, 1999 LD plain1, 1998 SD, 1999 SD, etc ... 1994's 92's etc ... oh well dont know how or why I rambled into all that ... probably because i'm so tired I can see anymore and punchdrunk and silly so nighty night me droogies !!!
