Got mine @ $A40 a coin, probably worth not much more than that now.

I've always thought that it is an impressive coin.

BTW adrenalin, I notice your avatar is one of my pictures. Don't mind, honored in fact. Where'd you find it?

Nice picture, for a BU coin I think the detail is great.

What is the Dragon 1oz coin likely to retail at considering a similar spot price to today when it is released?

    Hey Tom,
Wow so you are the one that took that photo of it!
The gold lunar horse is my favorite coin.
Unfortunately the coin that I own is sealed in a graded coin slab.
So I can't/don't want to take it out to photograph it.

I found the original pic on the web years ago.
The original pic is amazing and I could stare at it for hours.
I had it as my desktop wall paper for a while too.

Its the best horse picture that I've ever seen to this date!!

P.S thanks Tom! for taking it and letting me use it as my avatar logo!

I suggest you become VERY good friends with your dealer then! They are the ones who normally buy most of them to onsell. I have mine on order already!! SO I have guaranteed Dragons. YEAHHHH!

They might give you first dib's but I couldn't see any way you'd get a price locked in this far out, silver could be trading any where from 25-65 buy late september.

Apmex has always been my primary source. I've now emailed them twice and called to see if there was any way to be assured to get some dragons. Despite my doing 6 figures in business with them over 6 years, no dice. I just have to get in line and hope. The whole thing reminds me of the US Mint releasing the 20th Anniversary proof SAE set about 4-5 years ago. I tried hard before the release date, phone order, web ordering and I got skunked. The sets went from $100 to $600 in a month after introduction and sell out. Talk about pissed.

Tom my fear on the dragons is that they will be sold out at the start. If so, I expect Apmex and Gainesville to raise the premiums by several dollars. If that happens, I may drop the lunars and concentrate on the Canadian Wildlife Series coins. I will buy 5 dragons to keep my lunar 2 series intact. But if the premiums are $8, 10, 12, then I will have to pass on buying 500 or more coins.
