    A guys selling one of these over here in Perth...asking $2300!!!...Is he for real?, or is he dreamin?

    WTF! I know why I stack oz's and not this 'pretty' silver...or am I an idiot and this is a 1.5kg 'Redback spider'?

    I think $1200 is the "acceptable" going rate, gotta love Gumtree though!
    I like the guy who says something along the lines of "no messing about, I am prepared to pay $10 for round 1966 50 cent pieces", I think most of us would be prepared to pay $10 for them!

    'Normally' they cost around $1300 from memory.

    There was a guy selling one 66/50, for $30...one of the rarer ones that had the little flutes or whatever above the emu's head....no takers...their not worth that are they?

    My 'personal' Fiat high (short term) is that price divided by 10!

    Honestly can someone suggest what one of these things is worth?

    Value of the coin is 29 parts numismatics, 1 part silver.
