    I bought this beautiful coin a couple of days ago.
    Would appreciate any information about it
    Weight approx 6.40grams
    9999 fine gold

    It's ok, But i don't like the spots on the face of the coin. I would return it.

    Joe, it's 10 years old and probably never seen an airtite. Probably not many out there as it is!

    Hi all. This is a fake coin. Bhutan will not under any present circumstances make any coin honoring some Chinese leader. Sorry about that. The gold might be real but it is not minted in Bhutan or for Bhutan.

    Just to add, the first side of the coin looks authentic. The Dzongkha script and the logo. However it is the Dr. Sun Yat-sen, whoever he is, is fake. Sorry.

    You should do a bit more research before making such a silly statement without any proof to back it up.
    This is a commemorative coin most probably minted outside your country by a mint who paid a royalty for the right to issue it.
    Quality of the coin suggests that it is not minted in Bhutan; that these coins would be issued in small numbers and marketed for international collectors at a premium
    Another site has the same obverse and reverse in a 250 Ngultrum silver coin and I also have that particular silver coin as well.
