    Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you guys own one of this coin? Mintage is only 250, with sales at 220 according to PM.

    What's the market price of the coin and how hard is it to buy one?

    I sold one last year
    It fetched just shy of $1500
    I don't think there would be much change from $2500 if the present owner decide to sell

    Is that pic of a Proof or Bullion version? Proof versions should have a box and certificate number.

    Its a proof coin. Most slabbed proof coins don't come with box and certificate.

    For the 2000 dragons, proof coins have a P on them... Bullion don't.

    Sometimes, even slabbed coins have box and certificate. It all depends on the owners. Some of them might have lost them or thrown them away after slabbing the coin, as they might feel its pointless keeping the box & it takes up space.

    That's my Dragon I just sold tonight. When I bought it, the original owner somehow misplaced or lost the COA and the box was in really bad shape so I just threw it away (it was the 5 coin set box, adhesive started to separate from the top and bottom). It probably would have brought more money if I had the certificate and box. Oh well, I did good for when I bought it 2 years ago for $1,200 :)
