Hi, i have got 1 oz PAMP with the lid suddenly open just now. I am referring to the original sealed i bought this one few years back, and thinking to sell it in the near future. See attached files just wondering, this this effect my sell value? I have got a few other 1 oz pamp, is there a way to prevent the sealed open in the future? i had considered myself stored it very wise in a reasonable tight plastic wrap Pls kindly advise. I've seen this happen with many PAMP cards. It does affect the resale value as you can no longer guarantee the assay value. Sell it now for what you can get and buy cast immediately. I think it must be a quality control problem with European glue.
I concur with Sammysilver. And wouldn’t ever buy PAMP assay bars, the premiums are ridiculous on them and have the quality issue as discussed. With the cast, you can actually HOLD the gold, and your costs are lower. And I personally appreciate the old school feel of a gold cast bar over a mint bar. Sell all the PAMP gold bars you have, then buy cast. With the premiums you can charge on the PAMP bars, you could use that and snag an extra 1/4 or 1/2oz of gold thanks to the lower cast bar premiums, depending on how many you have to sell.
