Similar price on ebay buy now: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330606046352 But it is a bit of a joke. If the guy doesn't get hold of the coins you just get a refund...
I'm bought some boat parts from the UK before. I mentioned I was located in Australia. They didnt add the VAT tax as they were sending it out of the country.
There is a VAT refund scheme that operates in the UK, but it is somewhat different to the one that operates from Australia. (VAT applies to silver but not gold). However, if the goods are posted to an address outside the UK there is no reason at all that it can't be VAT free. So check with the company that they will zero rate before you buy as those prices aren't too bad I reckon. I love this quote from their web site, "We will have large quantities of most sizes of the 2012 Australian coins". Compare that with local dealers, what a joke. Edit: Just found this on their site: VAT We are legally obliged to charge VAT at 17.5% on our postage charges, except for export orders (outside the eurozone). (It should say 20%)
