I thought 1kg can be re-minted until the end of the series?

There is no confirmation yet that this is re-minting of previous years' 1kg lunars.

They are listed in Bullion Money's 'Clearance' section.

The only way to get anything near confirmation is to ask the question on Perth Mint blog.

Yeah, who knows if they are re-minting or not.

I have stayed away from 1kg lunars for this exact reason ... the fact that they can re-mint any time during the series.

Pretty sure they are not re-minted. They are most likely buybacks aus deutschland Ja!

If the mint is going to start re-minting the 1 kilos they would probably start with the 08 Mouse and 09 Ox.

isnt reminting of 1kgs based on a dealer order being large enough

^^^ Supposedly. Nothing to stop the PM churning out 1kgs at their leisure however.

you would think the ones being sold now were either a buy back or a dealer order. it wouldnt make much sense for them to mint 1kg tigers of their own accord with all the options theyve opened up with the 1oz kooks and the privies

Just to clear this up, before it gets out of hand (wish someone would have just asked us).

Perth mint is not re-minting these 1kg tiger or has any plans to (as far as I know)

The ones we are selling are not re-mints.
