Ok so the question is...Would YOU buy a 1KG Lunar Tiger coin for $1085?
    (Note: This comes to $33.75/oz)

    Yes/No??

Amazingly good deal/ Average deal/ Poor deal?

Would you save up the money to buy this or would you spend it on some other type of silver?

    All opinions are welcome!

I would if its close to the price of a bar, so you get free numismatic value thrown in. But it depends on how you are stacking.

Good deal but I would just buy the current year of the dragon, it's sure to be worth more in the future than the tiger.

Worth repeating now (so it shows up in a search in two years when it eventuates) any Series II 1kg silver coin in the series can be reminted up until the close of Series II.

Hasn't happened yet, but is a future possibility. May never happen because no-one can stump up the cash for a couple of tonnes of silver at the Perth Mint for a mint-to-order request for a single year's coin.

That said, a $60/kg premium over a current year kilo isn't a bad price at all for a kilo Tiger.

Does this only apply to the 1kg size, or can all sizes be reminted?

Its ok.. heaps of Killer Deals out there.. close to the Drag price so cant lose much.. anticipating dissapointment when the coin is reminted down the track.

Depends on spot and where you think it is going.

I personally find them far to bulky in there casing and being round... bars are much better if you have a safe near capacity (for me these huge coins are a waste of space ... literally!)
