Just seeking some opinions here from fellow stackers

Looking to complete my set of the 2000 Kooks and have the opportunity to pick up the last of them being the 1kg

I notice from the Perth Mint mintage figures there were 4556 minted compared to around 3000 for other years around than time

Any thoughts on price in the range of $1200 - $1400

    Appreciate any comments

    Thanks

I'd pay $1200 but probably not any more.

You can buy current lunar kilos for about that price and 10% over spot is reasonable.
The premiums on kilo coins are usually not high - even for lunars.

I once got a PROOF 2000 kilo kook set for 10% over spot (dealer was in a generous mood that day).

I reckon if you wanted to source one you'd pay 1400-1500
