Anyone know where I can get some 1g Gold 2016 Pandas in Australia?
Thanks Beyond... More dealers stock Chinese coins nowadays, than in previous years... but these 1g Pandas appear especially hard to find. E.g. 1oz Gold Pandas in Australia https://www.kjc-gold-silver-bullion.com.au/CT/china-gold-pandas/82 http://www.bullionmark.com.au/index...1&redirected=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=6 http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/pand15gco1/
Hard to belive that the best performing bullion over the last 5 bearmarket years did not work out to find really attention in australia. low premium bullion seems to be the first choice
I think there is strong demand for Pandas in Australia - but I think there is more of a supply issue. Getting Pandas into Australia seems to be more difficult than regular bullion.
i can be supply for pandabut australia market is too small thats why i wont stock in sydney if more members need 1g i can stock them in more sheets quantity i know only kjcperthbullion selling new panda all new issue after 2010 no more profit for me kjc bought from hk greatwall company i bought directly from mintcan get all year of pandasany typessizes kjc pandas no coa with pandachina market pandas with coa doing bullion have to regis te r and many fees to pay more troubles for me cause i do not have got company in hereshipping is big prounless large order
I've tried to source them. Almost impossible this year to do it at prices that are economically feasible. My understanding is that they are sold wholesale in sets from the mint with the same percentage premium across the set - whether 1g or 30g - and the smaller sizes have a *much* larger retail markup, so many distributors are either refusing to sell the smaller sizes, keeping them for their own retail needs, or passing them along at horrendous markups that are basically retail prices. So to buy 10x 1g pandas wholesale from the mint, you also need to buy 10 of every other size (3g, 8g, 15g, 30g) - some distributors are simply hanging onto the smaller sizes to get the retail markups, and only selling the 15g/30g sizes wholesale. Basically limited supply and market forces - distributors cashing in on the supply & demand.
but i know US market price maybe cheaper than china now china only first issue or presale is cheap i can preorder for new pandas thats cheapafter then increase in the market only dealers can buy from china mint china mint dont have website and shop
The shop has about four or five sheets that came in on monday. And the prices are going down here in the states for the 1gm and 3gm. I paid $70 for the 1gm, and $135 for the 3gm. If there was a way to ship to Australia with registered mail (FedEx is expensive and us post office won't do it) then we would love to ship to our neighbors!
Well, I'm in the states and prices have been steady here. If you want the 1 and 3 gram graded pcgs-70's, You will pay about $163 for 1 gram, And about $254 for the 3 gram... Prices will vary though
Good thing to be patient. Now PerthBullion carrying the 1g gold pandas at reasonable prices http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/pand16gcg1/ 61 - 65 USD. Seems like they have a lot in stock too.
Any updates on sourcing the 1g and 3g gold pandas in Australia? I bought from Perth Bullion in the past but I have had issues with them and I am looking for alternative sources.
