Just a quick question for someone in the know, how common are the black square cases (not capsules) for the early bullion kooks and how many years did they use them. Was suprized to see they are $5 denomination coins not $1 when did they swap that over?
Googling my way around ive seen them in black case up to 1994. Just realized they were struck as proofs not bullion and really low mintage 21,671 & 6673 90/91
