I'm wanting to sell a 1988 $200 gold coin I was given as a gift but I have no idea how much it's worth. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

    Hi Closetnerd88,

    Welcome to silver stackers.

Check the following site for buy/sell prices on gold coins.

WDavis are currently buying $200 gold coins for $429 and selling them for $468.

Hi, use ebay completed listings as a guide.

    Here's a link:

If you sell to members here on Silver Stackers, consider deducting...ebay sale premiums plus Paypal premiums.

I didn't join today. The coin matches because it was given to me as a 21st gift, all my family got one for the year they were born.

The coin's sale value moves with the spot price of gold - higher the price of gold, the more money you get for your coin. If you have the coin in no-damage condition along with the mint packaging and certificate of authenticity, you can expect a higher sale value.
