I am puzzled that a 1986 Panda can be up for sale if there were none minted in 86. Can anyone tell me anything different? As far as I can workout the coin in qustion has to be yet another bad attempt of copying the Panda.
Wow... interesting coin... never seen this one before... Wow... when China had a population of less than 1 billion people... Interesting...
The 1986 Silver Panda coin is part of a series issued by many countries for the World Wildlife Fund. It can be found in both BU and Proof conditions. It's popularity has gone up quite a bit in the past year and the price has risen from about $60-$75 USD to $175-$225 USD. There is no difference in value between the proofs and BU coins so far.
