These are all 1984 issue. Get both and get them graded. Here are the complete sets: 1. 1984 Silver plated (luckeymoneyro) Gold plated (luckeymoneyro) Silver (many fakes - high priced, hard to get original non-fake version) 2. 1990 Silver (only this one recognized so far. No plated version known: hangzhouhuayinshoucangpin or boybluejay) The recent listing of goldfish of 1984 could be real or fake, pure silver or plated, hard to know without weighing : ebay id 170854802132
shibaji, what is the weight of the 90% silver coin supposed to be?? in 1984 and 90 good info to have, thanks
1990 is 21 grams each. Do not know about 1984, but would assume same, since the composition and size are similar.
Example of silver plated brass Goldfish 1984 graded by NGC: http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=2764052-013 Census shows 2 graded so far for this one
heh heh - both are probably by boybluejay :-D - and bought from luckeymoneyro - the next batch would be from jc888888888
would be nice if Mr. fish......sounds like a trade in the making hint hint...............................
Wonder if luckmoneyro is sold out on the silver plated goldfish. Don't see anymore listed. Just pulled the trigger on the $275 2012 Dazu Rock Carvings, imho a stunning medal.
I doubt it needs conservation. It is copper, and new issue (2012). However, that's just my take on this.
Will conservation stop it from changing colour? It believe its only a $10 diff between NCS and not to NCS.
Double sealed OMP pagodas on auction right now. Real or fake? http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRIU-a-set-...7049319?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item2a1e4deae7
I have been following this one. Looked real to me - but again, silver goldfish and pagoda are matter of great concern.
I am just watching not bidding. Clark Smith has a pagoda set, 3 69s and 1 68 for $3200. A great price compared to other ebay listings.
Sold for 1425.00 OMP pagoda set. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...zqE4x%2F8z7aGnZvwqSRc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
