Something I've kept an eye on for quite some years now is the abundance of 1966 50c pieces on ebay.

They are usually quite freely available. At the moment however, there is no quantity at all.

Sure, you will still find a few in auctions finishing in a few days time, but nothing there in any decent amount.

I believe things are finally starting to heat up in the retail market.

$10 each at the local Sunday market
Prices are firm & $10 silver coins are $25 each
The sellers don't care ,it helps if you know them all & they are honest with you ;)
$ in the bank for them , not giving them away ;)

The 50's have certainly been promoted heavily on this forum. A very large hoard of them will be with SS members. Aurora sold his almost immediately which was good to see.

Contact DSK if anyone wants any.
I bought some pre-dec off him yesterday and he told me he still has some 50s in inventory.

I am very happy to have stayed out of silver for the past 4 year BEAR market.

There is a very strong case for spot silver to drop to US$10 and below. If it doesn't happen, so be it.

With the retail market starting to dry up however, and with the 7year Shemitah upon us, I have bought some silver in the past few days. Call it insurance :D
