Thanks for viewing the post, any help is welcome Does anybody have any further information about this coin below, I've completed a number of google searches but no luck on this exact coin. It looks to be gold plated but i'm unsure, I'm guessing its some sort of penny. The text on the coin reads: Front: 1943 Farthing Back: Georgivs VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:IND:IMP.

You'll find quite a lot of copper coins plated for pendants & the like - value's around $2 currently if you sold on eBay...
