    what would the above coin worth these days? this is not a restrike coin. thanks guys

    austrohungarian coins have an "x" after the year if its a restrike, you'll see it often on ducats

    So how do you tell that it is not a re-strike?

    I just assume all of these coins that is available for sale are restrikes.
    Personally I would prefer an uncirculated "restrike" over a circulated "original" any day as it is the beautiful reverse that rocks my boat. An X next to the date does nothing for me.
    10%+ above spot if it is a good specimen.
    I think I have picked up at the most 5 of these particular coins over the last 7 - 8 years so even the "restrikes" are pretty rare.
    The Austrian 100 Corona is readily available in Sydney for about 2 - 3 % above spot.
    Must be a shortage in Melbourne as WD Davis is offering a high premium on buybacks.

    well,i dont but i think the 1908 so much rarer than 1907,which is a restrike.does not really matter as long as close to spot ;)

    I have picked up Austrian 100 Coronas at spot but it's not going to happen with the Hungarian 100 Koronas.
    Too rare and highly sought after.
    Happy to pay anyone interested in selling them a 5% premium above spot however I don't think anyone who owns one is a bunny. :) [​IMG]
