    Continuing from the other thread..

    Do you know/trust this seller?

Also: I would demand better photos than that.

Maybe I'm just being a wimp, but there's a reason why at this time I stick with slabbed (complete with TPG images) for stuff like this.

Google current & past prices for yours, including from (non-eBay) auctions..

    I'm seeing a weight of 28.28g.. diameter of 38.61mm

Would you like me to buy it for you, too? ;)

You didn't mention if $300 USD or AUD.

Honestly, you're probably gonna have to do some legwork on this..

Do a search on this particular crown. Make sure it's the same exact one, as I believe there are varieties out there.

I'm sure others are currently for sale, and have sold in the past. See what prices they fetch(ed). Compare the photos to help get a better idea of what grade this might be.

As mentioned, I don't do raw for stuff like this. I gladly pay up for slabbed.

I might be a wimp, but I also don't fret much with TPG images that contain exact/minute distinguishing marks, toning, etc.

There is risk in raw. But also reward. :)

There's a price range, depending on level of service.

    Check NGC's / PCGS's site.

So, would this family friend be willing to send in to NGC / PCGS to be authenticated, graded & slabbed -- prior to your purchase?

They won't slab a fake. And I don't believe they charge the full fee in that case, either.
