It seems like the last month has been forever hanging in the lower 1500's but finally something gave in and we are seeing 1620's again.... Will we see 1700 soon? Great to see some rivival and real money again....Just wish silver would break 30-35?

A close around 1630 would be a good sign. But it is freaky Friday though so we usually get our trousers pulled down at weeks end

I'm not convinced the announcement by the ECB should have had metals rallying last night.

Yes, when it hits $2,000+ then everyone will be saying if gold got to $1,625 again, they'll be backing the truck ;)

Been waiting the last week for my rollover cheque so I can start investing my SMSF. So frustrating missing this weeks dip, so f-angry about it. I guess if its only northward from here I'll get over it.

    Exactly.

And those people who missed some dip at $600 are probably praying that it'll still get back there so that they don't have to admit defeat ;)

Some people ascribe certain dollar values to gold like "$2000oz is too expensive" or "I would never buy above $1000oz". The reality is that times change, and $2000oz could still be a low point in a parabolic curve. Who knows...not people who set rigid gold values against the fluctuating values of fiat currency that's for sure.
