Mintage of 2500 from what I know (which aint too much here). Looks like a great find @ that price.
I'd probably grab it if I could. I don't have an Apmex account, but would make it worth someones while for ordering it for me:)

It's heavily toned so it'll affect the resell value.

    I like the bit about

"Heavily toned in lavender and periphery in cobalt blue."

Do these people sell real estate as well?

Thanks for the link but I can't offer any more info.

A good conditioned one of those is worth much much much more...

if there was a safe way of reversing the toning, there could be some good money to made :)

I have no problem with 12 oz of toned panda silver at just over spot.

Cheers yennus ..better value than a standard 10 oz bar etc. imo

Those older 12 oz pandas might do pretty well, considering their mintages. I'd be happy to have one in any condition:)

    Good find.

Jesus that's got to be worth a buy.

I'll go halves with someone and we'll get it slabbed / treated?

    Whoever's keen, PM.

Don't forget APMEX uses FEDEX which will charge you "GST".

    Life's a bitch.

Isn't that all a bunch of .... though?

    Their site sucks too.

I've been trying to order it for the last 10 minutes.

Not accepting credit card as a valid form of payment.

    Pathetic.

CC only accepted if you're from USA.

APMEX is shit that's why nobody buys from them :)

That 12oz is worth buying though.

Even if I can't clean it up, I'd love to own it.

Is there a way around the GST thing?

    Could somebody clarify please?

Fedex are a bunch of dipshits and feel the need to charge GST on everything even if it is bullion and tax exempt.

Many members on here have had troubles with Fedex including but not restricted to jpanggy, Maggie among others.

Even after obtaining an ATO exemption court ruling, Fedex still takes 2-3 more months to refund the wrongly withheld money.

They are the worst. UPS is much better.

Best case, I get a refund.

Worst case, I can deal with a $150 loss if it means obtaining that panda for my collection.
