Absolutely - a Buy It Now on e-Bay ending July 14th
    100 x 1 oz new Maples for 5 only.

HOWEVER this feeBay bandit is asking three thousand pounds for P&P when ten would cover the costs.

Anyone interested in buying then challenging the P&P just to get this guy pissed-off ??

Item number 130544907551 on e-Bay UK.

    Hehe,

Free pick up was a slip up.

Yeah - What he is trying to do, is to sell 100 oz worth of 1 oz coins, and pay $2 for the fee.

He is 'stealing' of eBay and not of the buyer ( provieded the 100 oz are reasonably priced )

I sent a email to the seller. It will be interesting to see what or if any reply I get. :)

Thanks crutch024 for finding the collect in person option.

Bollocks ! - I missed that - would have been an interesting situation if I went through with the feeBay deal.

He's got smarter now and all his other current items are following the same pattern - almost nil value but big P&P to make up the shortfall.
    Check out his Metalor bars.
Maybe one slipup will put him right and I'm amazed feeBay lets these auctions run.
Can they apply retrospective fees for circumvention ??

Ebay demands and fee's are becoming a joke

I agree, thanks to their high fees, I haven't sold anything on ebay in years.

Not really a precedent, that has already been set, my wife bought her wedding dress from China three years ago, $10. Over $150 for postage, actual postage was a lot less of course and the dress was worth far more than $10.

We looked around first and all the chinese dressmakers were doing the same, dirt cheap dresses but massive mark ups on the price of postage.

Dress fell to bits on the second wearing and needed altering but for $160, bargain!

Fees on P&P seem to relate to stores in the USA.
They don't in the UK for private sellers.
