Yeah there's a Best Offer feature, but a Buy It Now of 10k? I'm very surprised THIS particular seller would pray that much on the ignorance of the sheeple. I hope the "1 sold" already didn't pay the full amount. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-x-10o...00692217787?pt=AU_Bullion&hash=item4602a71fbb Maybe benefit of the doubt should be in play here?
I am actually quiet surprise to see the seller bullion bourse putting up such a price. If u go to his website his prices are mostly fair
I have problems with BB website in the past week...typo? not the first time..they seriously need to upgrade their site
I think it is to avoid selling too low in case spot jumps and there's no-one available to adjust the price. Was happening last year in the crazy months.
I presume it was a typo seeing as though BB is an honest seller. I've bought from him before, good service
Putting up an absurd high price can achieve two things. Firstly it can be an incentive for buyers to contact the seller and make a realistic offer and preferably f2f for the transaction to avoid fees, the payment can also just go through PP and not feebay so there are only one set of fees. Secondly, it keeps the offer advertised while negotiations may be in place for a realistic trade.
