it was the exact same bull*** that every other candidate has ever said for many hundreds of years... america is mostly morons, he will lose millions of votes because he dosent 'look' presidential. not an inspirational speaker, repeats the same things the other guys are and looks like the 2014 koala. no chance in hell
My 0.02oz, as a foreigner. Ron Paul > Rand Paul > The rest/Whatever > Satan > Sanders*>Hilldog *(I don't know enough about Sanders, but based on his video, he might actually be behind the Clinton family)
-j-p-shmorgan has made a habit of posting economic/political comments from a position of ignorance. Sanders appears to be rehashing the same, worn out cliches about wealth inequality.
Umm, what's the point? You come on this forum, contribute to the collective dumbing-down of humanity with outdated socialist propaganda and when your points of view are challenged, you simply start another thread. So why should I bother making valid points? Take your spam elsewhere.
Take your comments somewhere else. If you have nothing to contribute in a thread, why do you feel the need to post? Simply close out, and comment somewhere else. It's really not that difficult. I happen to like Bernie & his ideas. This post wasn't spam or " socialist propaganda". lol I suppose anything you dislike or don't agree with is propaganda huh? This was simply offering a different candidate for people to check out, and decide for themselves. Nothing more, nothing less.
uh? Wake up, you're not in Kansas anymore! In politics, "The people" don't decide anything of any importance.
Further "propaganda" . THIS is why he has my vote!!!!!
Not all the time, mostly if I don't like something it's because I either consider it in poor taste or stupid ignorant. But if you want to talk about Bernie Sanders, I'm more than willing than discuss his policies. It's just that you have made two completely unjustifiable comments in two separate threads and I have countered both of those however you seem to persist with your "democratic socialist" arguments regardless. :/ In this thread I've accused Sanders of rehashing the worn out cliche of "wealth inequality" as a means of attacking capitalism. I would argue that Sanders doesn't even understand what capitalism is, nor does he understand that wealth inequality is a natural outcome of the inequality of ability that exists amongst all humans ie an entirely natural outcome of economic beings. Most anti-capitalist rants are actually anti-mercantilist, ergo anti-Statist (though arrived at through ignorance). Their solution is an increased State presence rather than less, which ironically is in fact pro-Statist and therefore pro-mercantilist, Yes the irony is palatable (for those that can follow my logic  ). Yet, we have the peddlers of untruths, Sanders, -j-p-shmorgan et al which argue that wealth inequality is in fact unnatural. So having watched this video, Sanders is opposed to reductions in income taxes (for the wealthy), opposed to reductions in estate taxes (for the wealthy), he goes on about the government's lost revenue opportunities and then he gets all pro-mercantilist again because he has a problem with having a "51st state named China which is producing virtually all of the products which we as Americans consume". If Alexander Hamilton were alive today his name would be Bernie Sanders. I have two suggestions for you: 1. research "mercantilism" and then return to this forum with your tail between your legs - you will be forgiven and loved because we have all walked that path previously, or 2. piss off and don't bother us again.
Mercantilism is defined as a policy that "promoted governmental regulation of a nation's economy for the purpose of augmenting state power at the expense of rival national powers." Bernie Sander's views espouse mercantilism.
mercantilism belief in the benefits of profitable trading; commercialism. historical the economic theory that trade generates wealth and is stimulated by the accumulation of profitable balances, which a government should encourage by means of protectionism. I have no problem with this or Bernie Sanders. We obviously just fundamentally disagree on what's best for the country. Do I like ANYYYYY other candidate that's running?? NO! And that's exactly why this old Koala lookin' dude is getting my vote.
You have no problem with mercantilism? So what exactly do you object too? You can't approve of mercantilism on hand, and then disapprove of greedy banksters, corporatism and wealth inequality on the other. The latter is a direct result of the former. You remove mercantilism and you remove the problems in the free market we face now. Bernie Sanders' message is a mix of xenophobia and protectionism. Of course I fundamentally disagree with you on what is best for the country. I thought I'd made it obvious from my previous posts in this thread and in the other two threads where I have attempted to point out the error in your economic and political thinking. Bernie Sanders' policies will not solve the problems we face because Bernie Sanders' policies created them in the first place. You'd be better off not voting at all.
Instead of posting smilies and stupid retorts, why don't you actually engage in some economic or political debate by attempting to refute my arguments?
